Should gifted people get free higher education?

In my recent exploration of whether gifted individuals should receive free higher education, I found this topic to be quite divisive. Some argue that such an opportunity would foster their potential and contribute to societal advancements. Others, however, contend that it could lead to an elitist educational system and overlook those who simply lack resources. Personally, I believe a balance must be struck – offering more scholarships and grants to gifted students, while still maintaining support for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. It's a complex issue that requires careful consideration.
